Keep it movin'

Tuesday’s workout went pretty well. I did a 1.5 mile fasted walk first thing in the morning. I’ve been in the habit of making breakfast as soon as I get up so it’s been a bit of a struggle throwing on sneakers and going out in the chilly morning air. But, now I actually look forward to it.  The early morning air smells and feels good.

After work I did a quick lift where I focused on back and a few ab exercises.

4x12 Lat Pulldown
4x12 Seated Row
4x12 Rope face pull
4x15 Cable Crunch
4x12 Bent Over bbell row
2x20 Physio Ball Crunch
2x6 Physio Ball Leg Raise

4 mile run

I was dropped off at the gym so I decided to try running back.  I thought it’d be an even 4… it turned out to only be 3.5 so I had to make up a few loops. My legs felt heavy and the soreness from Leg Day on Monday had definitely set in.

Meals:

Breakfast
2 egg + 1 egg white omelet
Saute’d garlic, mushroom and jalapeno
1 cup spinach
¼ cup Colby Cheese

Lunch
1 cup homemade sticky rice (recipe coming soon)
Roasted chicken & Trader Joe’s pesto Andouille sausage salad
            Approx. 2 oz. of each chicken and sausage
            Salad lettuce mix
            VERY light on the dressing

Dinner
1 cup homemade sticky rice

4 oz. tilapia
1 cup spinach
¼ cup chopped onion
½ avocado
½ tomato

               ¼ cup Colby cheese
