Very rarely do I have an issue with sleeping. I am one of those lucky individuals that can sleep anywhere and at anytime. Long day at work and we go out to dinner? I'm falling asleep in the car on the way home. Taxing down the runway in an airplane? I'm asleep before we take off. Yep. I'm one of
those people. Please don't hate me. It's both a blessing and a curse. Well, Tuesday night this skill decided to take a hiatus and completely abandon me. No idea what happened but I went to bed around 10pm and started waking up at 1230am. The weather was incredibly muggy so I'm thinking it had to be that. Tossed and turned from 1230-4am, until I finally got out of bed at 415 to do who knows what. What can you possibly due at 4am besides walk around grunting and dragging your feet like a zombie?
My answer:
Walk across the street to Peet's to arrive there before the doors even open
2 mile walk (roud trip) to the grocery store
Grocery shopping (Yep. I said it. I went grocery shopping at 5am.)
Make a delicious breakfast
Clean those dishes
Clean up and organize the patio

I ended up taking last night off from my actual workout so I could try to catch up on some sleep. Slept 8 hours straight, and I only woke up once and that was to go to the bathroom. Today should be better though. I'm feeling somewhat rested, had a tasty breakfast of a lite cream cheese and lox bagel (though, admittedly, my stomach is already growling), and I'm ready for my run and lift tonight.
