Pretty hard Friday, even knowing I would have to call it a
day early from work. Besides being ready for the weekend, add “that time of the
month” into the picture and it just made it harder to get through the day. Plus
I felt like I wanted to eat EVERYTHING, which hasn’t happened in a while. I was
great the entire day diet wise… until I got home.
Breakfast
1 plain bagel
2 thin slices bacon
2 over easy eggs
3 oz. ground pork metaballs
2 cups watercress soup
½ bowl Bibimbop with spicy pork from Mixed Grain
Dinner
1 Shiitake Roll
2 pieces Himachi (Yellowtail) Nigiri
Snacks (this is
where just sitting at home has the potential of getting you in trouble)
1 plain bagel
2 tbsp lite cream cheese
½ Melon Cream Soda
Plus, I may (or may not) have had a few bites of the ice
cream my roommate has in the freezer. Now, I understand looking at it that it
doesn’t look all that bad, but when you take into account that all I did was do
a few ab exercises at home… reasonably healthy, but not my most successful day
in terms of self control. The important thing to remember though is that one
unsuccessful day can’t dictate the days after. You have one challenging day,
pick yourself up and move forward the next day.
