I guess today is a day for catching up. So, here we go...
On Monday I only did my morning 1.5 mile walk. Was falling asleep on the couch at 730, and back into bed at 930pm.
Woke up Tuesday morning at 5am feeling remarkably good. Had every intention of only walking this morning and then getting in my run and lift after work, but felt good enough to turn it into a 3-mile run. Was a pretty decent way to start the day. It's always hard to get in the habit of running when you don't do it all the time, but once you get used to it you end up actually enjoying it. I know I know, bull *hit right? I swear it's the truth. Ask anyone that went to middle school, high school, or even college with me. I HATED running. I did everything I possibly could to avoid running. I still don't really enjoy the process. It's how I feel after that keeps me going. I encourage everyone, unless you are physically incapable or have a doctor's note saying to avoid it, get out and run!
Focused on back and abs tonight at the gym:
3 mile bike ride to the gym
3x12 Lat pulldown
3x15 Side bends
3x12 Seated Row
3x12 Rope face pulls
3x15 Rope crunches
3x12 Machine Wide Row
3x10 Push-ups
3x50 Flutter Kicks
3x12 Upright Barbell Row
3x20 Physio Ball Crunch
3x12 Barbell Stiff Leg Deadlifts
3x15 Hyperextesions
3x15 Weighted Knee Raise
Diet was on point and I'm already starting to results. It really is amazing the difference you see when you stick to a workout plan and healthy diet after you don't workout for 3 weeks and all you do is eat.
And finally Wednesday... Hump Day...
Yesterday's energy is definitely that... yesterday's energy. Despite that, I still have a clear list in my head of what needs to get done and what I want to accomplish. I find that no matter how tired I'm feeling (mentally or physically) I can always push through it if I have a clear vision of my goal.
In the next day or so I want to talk a little about eating disorders and mental health when it comes to fitness and food. I think it's a big thing that a lot of people, men and women, have issues with. Until next time everyone.
